Haad Chao Phao Accommodation |
Zama Resort
Overall, the value for the price seemed fair. The location of this hotel is truly beautiful, and the pool takes full advantage of this beauty. The room was big and comfortable. Seva S, USA - Agoda
Only the rooms at the beach are great, but expensive. Staff is kind. The room is not cleaned during our 5 night stay, we had to change our own towels. Pool is nice. Liza H, Greece - Agoda
The bungalows were very basic but clean upon arrival although stopping two nights then staying an extra night I would have thought a change of bedsheets and clean towels would have come with that.Ruth I, UK - Tripadvisor
Kind Staff. Clean pool with a stunning view. Perfect location. Perfect snorkelling from the Beach. Ruvi B, Philippines - Tripadvisor

Zama Resort
Zama Resort (previously Niramon Sunview Resort) is a mid-sized resort in Haad Chao Phao. The resort has a large swimming pool as well as a restaurant and bar. This is a nice resort but the private beach in front of the resort is not the best part of Haad Chao Phao as high tide removes the beach and it is rocky. On the plus side it is possible to go snorkelling straight from the resort beach.
It is a short walk from the resort to better parts of Haad Chao Phao Beach.
The staff at this resort are friendly and helpful.
The bungalows at Zama Resort are arranged up an incline rising from the beach. This gives many bungalows great ocean views and sunset views.
The cheapest room option is the standard double with fan. These are comfortable bungalows with fan, cold water bathroom and small private terrace. Poolside bungalows are close to the pool and feature air-con, hot water bathroom and more living space as well as TV. The private villa has 1 bedroom, hot water bathroom, TV and air-con.
The swimming pool is located at the top of the resort. It is an impressive pool with separate kids section. The pool enjoys fantastic seaviews. Below the pool is the restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves Thai food, Western breakfast items as well as burgers, sandwiches, pasta etc. There is also the option of fresh seafood.
The bar serves cold bottled beers, wine, cocktails as well as juices and smoothies. It is a large restaurant / bar space that includes a pool table.
Some of the rooms have air-con, hot water bathroom, TV and small fridge. The cheaper fan bungalows are missing most of these facilities. All rooms and public areas have free wifi internet.
The staff at reception are happy to organise ferry tickets, airport transfers and taxis. There are also lockers and deposit boxes for guest use.
