This hostel has very friendly staff, great air con and comfortable rooms with free tea, coffee and water! The owner is so friendly and will go out his way to help you. Location is about a 2 minute walk from the pier but quite far from Haad Rin .Natalie S - Tripadvisor

If you discover that you have missed your ferry or it has been cancelled and you are stuck in Koh Phangan for an extra night then Sucasa Dorm is the solution. The dorm is just a few metres from the ferry pier. It has cheap dorm beds as well as a few private rooms. The staff are super friendly and are happy to help.
Although the dorm doesn't have an on-site restaurant, just 80 metres up the road the same owners run Khunpen Restaurant that does breakfast foods as well as steak and chips, Thai food etc. Nearby is also Sucasa Guesthouse.
Sucasa Dorm has a 16 bed mixed dorm. This dorm has air-con and lockers. There is also an en-suite bathroom with hot water showers for dorm guests to use.
A private 4 bed dorm is available for small groups travelling together. This dorm also has air-con, hot water shower and lockers.
There are also 8 private rooms for rent. These have air-conditioning, fridge and furniture.
Guests get free coffee, drinking water and hot water that they can use to make pot noddles. Not exactly a hostel kitchen, but good for people on a tight budget. Free wifi is available from all the beds.
Sucasa Dorm is a hostel. As you would expect from a hostel it has a dorm, lockers and a shower. There are also a few private rooms. There is a communal area at the reception but no communal lounge, bar or kitchen that you frequently find in hostels in Thailand and elsewhere in the world. There is no restaurant but nearby are shops, restaurants and also Khunpen Restaurant (same owners as Sucasa Dorm).
The dorm provides free water, tea and coffee making facilities. There is also free hot water for those who enjoy a pot noodle snack.
Other services: motorbike rental and laundry service. Safety derposit boxes are available at reception. The rooms have free wifi. The main advantage of this dorm (other than the price and location) is the friendly staff. There is often a foreigner managing the dorm who goes the whole nine yards to help guests.
The minimum stay requirement for the Full Moon Party is 2 nights. For Christmas it is 2 nights and for New Year's Eve it is 5 nights.
