About Shanti Boutique Hotel

Shanti Boutique Hotel is a pleasant guesthouse in Srithanu about 100 metres from the beach. It has comfortable air-con rooms with the choice of a double bed or twin beds.

'Shanti' means peace in Hindi. The foreign owner, Flo, does all he can to create a peaceful and stress-free stay for his guests, many of whom are studying at one of the west coast's yoga / New Age centres.

Accommodation

There are 8 rooms available at Shanti Boutique Hotel. They are all a decent size. Guests can choose a double bed or twin beds. Every room has air-con, mini bar, TV, fan and en-suite bathroom with hot water.

The hotel provides complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner. They also provide fresh towels and clean rooms on a regular basis.

The design, decor and furniture for the hotel is tasteful rather than ultra-modern or cool.

Resort facilities

This is really a guesthouse rather than a hotel with amenities. There is a small number of rooms for guests some of whom stay for a month or more while they undertake a course of yoga, detox etc. There isn't a restaurant as such but you can order breakfast in advance.

The staff speak good English and are very friendly, especially the hands-on owner. They are happy to do laundry and organise motorbike hire. Likewise they can get taxis for guests. For many newcomers Flo's advice about local restaurants and attractions has helped make perfect holidays.
