The place has no lobby and nobody answered the phone number provided. After about an hour some lady came to give me the keys. I found the room. Towels, no soap and a broken faucet kept from leaking with a sponge. Nobody ever checked on me nor called and I stayed there for three days.

Pink House (AKA Pink Homes)
Pink House is close to the port, and near the many shops, restaurants and bars of Thongsala. It is a guesthouse and a hostel. It has a few rooms for rent as well as dormitory with bunk beds. The functional decor has splashes of pink - hence the name.
Accommodation
The rooms at Pink House are accessed by an outside corridor. They are spacious and clean and include air-con, hot water bathroom, fridge and flatscreen TV.
The dorm has 10 bunk beds and is mixed. The dorm is air-conditioned and guests are provided with a locker to store their belongings. There is a small safe by each bed to lock valuable possessions.
Both the dorm and the rooms have access to free wifi.
Resort facilities
Pink House has a reception area that supposedly doubles up as a 'lounge'. They will take on laundry, buy ferry tickets and organise taxi hire.
There is no restaurant on the premises but there are dozens of drinking and eating outlets just around the corner. Pink House is essentially a provider of cheap beds for the night.
Reviews
After a couple of years in business and a name change Pink Homes is getting a few good reviews on both Agoda and Tripadvisor. This hostel is not really designed for a holiday stay but rather for those stuck in Thongsala for the night.
