Gecko Beach Villas opened in 2015 and has had few reviews since, but nearly everyone who has commented wrote reviews glowing with praise for this small business and attentive hosts.

 

Accommodation

 

There are 3 villlas for rent.

 

The cheapest is the cabana. It is bebehind the 2 other villas. It is one bed with hot water shower, air-con, free wifi and TV. In front is a concrete varanda with a hammock.

 

The Studio Villa is bigger. It has a bedroom and separate kitchen with microwave, kettle, fridge and cutlery. The villa has an en-suite hot water bathroom as well as TV and safe. There are double sliding glass doors that lead to a veranda with furniture on the sand. The One Bedroom Villa has the same amenities as the Studio Villa; it just a bit bigger. It also is totally beachfront

 

It is a quiet location and great for kicking back and getting some quality 'me' time in. The views of the sunset over Ang Thong National Park from the veranda are picture perfect.

 

 

Resort facilities

 

Gecko Beach Villas is not really a resort. Staff come in to clean and change towels. You can ask the owner if you have any questions. There are plenty of travel agents, internet cafes, restaurants and bars in Hin Kong and nearby Srithanu for those looking for more amenities.

 

The staff will do laundry for a fee. There is free wifi in the villas. There is an electronic safe to store valuables. It is possible to order a cooked breakfast or a self-catering breakfast. You can also rent a kayak and there is snorkelling equipment free for guest use.
