There is presently just one villa to rent. However, the foreign owner is planning to build another villa. It is an 'open-style' house on one level using natural materials. There is a generous 320 sq meters of living space. Striking design features inlude part of the pool coming into the living area and a mezzanine effect with the 2 bamboo bedrooms.

There are 2 master bedooms and 2 'bamboo bedrooms'. The 2 master bedrooms have air-con and private en-suite bathrooms. The 'bamboo bedrooms' are located in the roof space and are essentially 2 bamboo alcoves with double beds inside. There is an open plan living room and dining area that has access to a comfortable outdoor area.

The kitchen is fully equipped and suitable for self-catering. The villa is set out for groups of friends or family. However, the master bedrooms look a good deal more comfortable than the bamboo bedrooms especially during the hotter months.

Resort facilities

There is an impressive level of amenties and facilities available at Baan Thamarchat. Not only is there air-con, hot water, TV and DVD player, there is also a 10 meter long swimming pool with salt water.

The villa is kept clean and the sheets changed by a maid that comes every day. There is also the option of getting a chef to come to the villa to cook dinner. Alternatively, guests can order dinner and have it delivered. There is also a Thai masseuse available on demand.

For those particular about their connectivity the villa promises 10MB free wifi. There is also 8 survelliance cameras for guest safety as well as a safe.
