Baan Nai Wok Resort is located in Thongsala on the road heading north towards Nai Wok. The resort consists of a series of well made wooden bungalows in a garden setting.
There are few staff working in the resort sometimes. This resort is more suitable for those looking for peace and quiet and for old Koh Phangan hands who can manage by themselves.
There are 11 bungalows for rent at Baan Nai Wok Resort. These are delightful wooden bungalows that echo the architecture of northern Thailand.
The bungalows feature wooden interiors. The bedroom has air-con, TV and storage space. There is also an en-suite bathroom with hot water shower. There is a small kitchenette with sink, fridge, kettle and microwave oven.
These bungalows would be great in a beach setting. Instead they are in a garden by a road, about half way between Nai Wok Beach and Thongsala.
It seems a bit wrong to call this a 'resort' as the main facility are the air-con bungalows. There is a reception area to check in and out where you can hand over your laundry. That is about it. No restaurant, pool, gym etc. that would be usually associated with a 'resort'. For those who want to self-cater the basic kitchens and the proximity to Tesco Lotus in Thongsala make Baan Nai Wok Resort an attractive option.
